AgroTerra took part in the first AgroCode Talks on import substitution in agriculture

The first offline meetup AgroCode Talks was held in the Tochka Kipeniya business space in Moscow on May 24, 2022. Invited experts discussed who would take the place of foreign companies on the Russian AgroTech market. The event was held with the support of Rosselkhozbank, JSC as part of the AgroCode Hub project. AgroTerra was represented by Nikolai Kashchuk, Head of Advanced Analytics.

Nikolai Kashchuk discussed several points with the guests. First, he spoke about the three most relevant areas for the development of specialized IT solutions for the agricultural industry – these are predictive models, operational management, and monitoring systems.

The second point was devoted to the trend towards ecosystem products aimed at collecting data. Nikolai Kashchuk emphasized that the collection and processing of high-quality primary data was a necessary component of IT solutions in the agricultural industry.

Lastly, Head of Advanced Analytics shared the experience of AgroTerra in implementing the Data-driven decision making approach and transforming data into management decisions using a system of agronomic and economic optimization models.

At the end of the meeting, the guests spoke about their projects, discussed current issues and potential collaborations, and exchanged business contacts.
