AgroTerra shares its expertise in agricultural technology at a Russo-Brazilian webinar

AgroTerra took part in the open webinar “Agrotech in Russia and Brazil: Current Trends and Opportunities for Entrepreneurs.” This event was arranged by the Science, Technology and Innovation Department of Moscow’s Brazilian Embassy with the support of Supera, the Brazilian innovative technology park. The speakers featured experts from Russian and Brazilian companies such as Agronow (Brazil), Agrorigem (Brazil), Decoy Smart Control (Brazil), IntTerra (Russia), Biovolf (Russia), and the Skolkovo Foundation (Russia). AgroTerra was represented by Roman Petrov, Director of AgroTerra’s Information Technology department.

The speakers described various programs that help foreign startups in entering the markets of Russia and Brazil, detailing the technologies that are implemented in the agricultural climates of the two countries as well as each country’s respective agricultural technology investment environment. Roman Petrov also talked about innovations in the agriculture sector, including artificial intelligence, the development of digital services, and biotechnology.
Roman Petrov spoke about trends in agriculture and took a detailed focus on technologies that are being implemented in the agricultural-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. AgroTerra does more than follow global trends— it creates the conditions for the application of its own innovative initiatives, including compliance with ESG principles, predictive analytics, maintenance optimization, and digitized field analysis.

“Seasonal planning is largely based on extensive data analysis. In planning, we take into account crop rotation, individual farm weather conditions, topography, soil composition, growing risks, and product price volatility. When working with such large volumes of information, we primarily focus on data quality and choose solutions that can be scaled both within AgroTerra and for our clients,” said Roman Petrov.
